Remove Your Duplicates Data by Using Remove Duplicates Option
Step 1:-Create a data where you want to remove duplicate in your spreadsheet.Step 2:- when you create your personal data, select all data then go data tab and click on remove duplicates.
Step 3- when you click on remove duplicates, a small remove duplicates window screen open in front on your screen. Then follow instruction as illustrated on below images.
Step 4:- when you do step 3 then press ok and again MS Excel window screen in front on your screen. It show how many duplicates values found and removed, it also show how many unique values remain on your spreadsheet.
In this method you have learn about how to remove duplicates value. In this next method you have learn about how to find the duplicate value and unique value use filter option.
Second Method Filter Unique Values from a List
Step 1:- In this method we must have to create a data where you want to show unique values from a list in your spreadsheet.Step 2:- when you create your data go on the data tab, in the sort and filter group click on advanced option. Then advanced option window open in front on our screen.
Step 3:- In advanced filter option, Mark the option “copy to another location” then click on List range and select the range of the data, in which you find the duplicates.
After select the list range go on copy to option and select the cell, where you want to display it.
Step 4:- when you do above image step then press ok and enjoy you have to see your unique records only.
Third Method Unique Values from a List using Pivot Table.
In this method I will teach you how to find unique values from a list using pivot table. It is very simple method. You can find unique values in some seconds. It is very quickest and easiest way to find the unique data.Step 1:- In this method we must have to create a data where you want to show unique values from a list by using Pivot table in your spreadsheet.
Step 2 :- Go on the Insert tab , in the table group click on pivot table. Create pivot table window open in front on your screen.
Step 3:- Select the range of the data in which you find the duplicates in Table/Range option. And mark the Existing worksheet or new worksheet where you want to show your result, and then press ok.
Step 4:- when you done step 3, pivot table field list open left on your window screen as you can see above image. Then click on “Name of Actors” and drag into row labels and Values. And you see your data show count of name of actors.
